

Hilde P. Rheault, 77, of Manchester died Friday evening, October 26, 2012 at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center. She was born in Bamberg, Germany on May 30, 1935, the daughter of Casper and Lioba (Gruener) Dechant.
She was raised in Germany and met her future husband, Robert Rheault, while he was on a tour of duty with the US Army. Following a year’s courtship they were wed in 1957. Hilde traveled in support of her husband’s military career until 1975 when he retired from the service and they relocated to Manchester.
Prior to her retirement she was employed as an assembler at Velcro USA.
Family members include her husband Robert E. Rheault of Manchester; three sons, Paul Rheault and Donald Rheault, both of Goffstown and Raymond Rheault of Hooksett; a brother Siegfried Dechant of Germany and Hilga Chenard of Somersworth.
Relatives and friends may gather at the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St., corner of Beech St. beginning at 10:30 Thursday morning. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home at 11:15 AM. Private urn encryptment will be in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Centralized Memorial Processing Center, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
