

Irene M. Dubois, 87, of Goffstown, died November 10, 2015 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born in Manchester on July 26, 1928 the daughter of Alphonse and Ethel (Goulet) Delisle. She grew up in the Queen City and was educated in the Manchester School System relocating in her later years to Goffstown.
She was employed at the Myrna Shoe Factory and in the housekeeping department at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home for more than twenty years. She enjoyed making crafts and loved taking her chance at bingo. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years Robert Dubois Sr. in 1993, her daughter Roberta Brackett in 2011 and by her brother Wilfred Delisle.
Members of her family include her two sons Robert J. Dubois Jr. and James A. Dubois both of Manchester, her two daughters Sandra L. Croto all of Manchester and Diana J. Dube of Allenstown and her brother Robert Delisle also of Manchester, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday November 12 from 6 to 8 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday November 13 at 11 am in St. Anne/St. Augustin Church 382 Beech St. Manchester. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
