Irene Rose Rheault

MANCHESTER – Irene Rheault, (100) passed away peacefully on December 25, 2024, at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home. Irene was born on May 5th, 1924, in Manchester, NH the daughter of Borromee and Alphonsin (Roy) Bissonette

Irene grew up in Manchester, attending local schools. She worked at Knitted Fashion for over 40 years in Manchester, NH. After she retired, she volunteered teaching knitting at Elliot Hospital, Catholic Medical Center and Bill Cashin Senior Center and when she was not volunteering, she was spoiling her grandchildren or volunteering her time as she was always there to help. During her free time she loved spending time at the ocean.

Survivors include her son, Joseph and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband; Joseph Rheault son; Gerard A. Rheault,

At Irene’s request there will be no calling hours.

Services for Irene will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her memory at Mount Carmel Nursing Home, the activities department, 235 Myrtle St. Manchester, NH 03104.

A special thank you to all the staff and nurses, at Mount Carmel, especially the nurses and staff, working on the second floor, for taking such good care of my mom.
