I knew Jimmy from way back when. I got to watch him play when he was with Cathy & Co., & then with his brothers in their band. He was always such a sweet guy, and lots of fun to be around. We lost touch for many years, but reconnected recently, thanx to Facebook. Jimmy, you, & your music will be missed by many, my friend. My condolences go out to the entire family.

I'm so sorry to hear about Jim's passing. Dave, as you probably recall, I worked with you at the Manchester Post Office until I retired nearly six years ago. And you and Jim both had my mother as a teacher at Webster School. My sympathy goes to all of your family.

I first met Jimmy way back in the old red onion days---the sibulkin brothers band were always gigging there and we actually worked together back then--he always had a fun soul and was a prankster--he will be sorely missed--i was glad i was able to keep in touch for more than 40 years--RIP my old friend and enjoy the moondance in heaven!

Truly one of the kindest human beings I have ever met, one who could make you laugh no matter what was going on, had more friends and acquaintances then one could imagine. A great musician, with a great voice. Jimmy you were blessed with a wonderful life, a pretty daughter and a wonderful family. You touched so many people in so many ways, the heavens will welcome you with open arms. You will be greatly missed. I reflect on our time together with a smile. " kisses for your face"

Jimmy was a great mentor to me as my first boss out of college. Our friendship developed quickly revolving around music. We played together many times. He was an incredible person and he will be missed. May he rest in peace and may the heavens be filled with beautiful music for eternity!

At times, Jimmy and I would go to karaoke bars. I remember one time in particular. I did my usual wanna be Bob Seger and was feeling pretty good about myself. Then Jimmy got up. He sang 'If You Don't Know Me By Know' by Teddy Pendergrass complete with all the sound effects. The DJ smiled and the place gave him an ovation. God, he was wonderful. Rest in peace Jimmy.
