Jennie (Gerasi),( Blondeau), Kiestlinger, 91, of Bedford, died January 25, 2018 at the Elliot Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Manchester on June 22, 1926 the daughter of James and Anastasia (Kalambokas) Gerasi. She was educated in the Queen City school system and was a graduate of Manchester High School Central.
She was employed as a bookkeeper at Pandora Industries and also at Swanson Die Company for many years and was also co-owner with her husband of Ray’s Country Store in Bedford but her real devotion was in caring for her family. She enjoyed getting together with her family and friends and will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother sister and friend.
She was predeceased by her first husband Marcel Blondeau in 1957, by her second Raymond Kiestlinger on January 10 this year and by her sister Mary Mitchell in 2017.
Members of her family include her son Danny Blondeau, her daughter Shana Rousseau and her husband Steve all of Bedford, her grandsons Danny Blondeau, Jr, Steve Ropusseau, Jr. and Chad Rousseau, her great-grandchildren Kayleigh Roper, Mark Blondeau, Jacob Blondeau, Skyler Rousseau, Sophia Rousseau, Megan Rousseau and Nicholas Blondeau and her great-great grandchildren Avery Roper and Scarlett Roper as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday January 29 from 4 to 6 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester with the Trisagion Service held at 5:30 pm. A funeral Service was celebrated on Tuesday January 30 at 10 am in the funeral home. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Jennie’s name be made to the Bedford Fire and Rescue or to the Bedford Crimeline 55 Constitution Dr. Bedford, NH 03110.
