

Born in Derry, NH to the late Kenneth R. Chase Sr. and Eleanor P. Thompson, Kenneth was a graduate of Pinkerton High School class of 1960 and briefly considered pursuing a calling to become a Catholic Priest. He ultimately decided to join the Air Force and served at Otis AFB in Texas from 1960 to 1964. He later went on to obtain his Associates Degree in Chemistry from Rivier College in 1983.
Kenneth was a very kind soul who would give you the shirt off his back if needed, and he had many interests and hobbies. After retiring from Benchmark (BAE) in 2002, he enjoyed traveling with his wife, Stephanie, having been to Hawaii twice, California, Arizona, Alaska, Aruba, Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, and a multi-country European vacation. Kenneth particularly enjoyed spending time with his family, watching movies, talking, and walking his dogs, Pierre and Alexa.
He is survived by, and will be dearly missed by his wife of 39 years Stephanie A. Chase of Manchester, NH, his step-daughter Christine D. Manning and her husband Matthew B. Manning of Londonderry, NH, his brother William Chase and wife Maureen of Hadley, MA, as well as a sister Madeline DeGroot and her husband Keith DeGroot of Schenectady, NY, along with several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by several of his siblings: Francis Chase, Richard Chase, Dana Chase, Glenn Chase and Mary Goodwin.
A funeral committal and inurnment for Ken will take place on May 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (Mausoleum), 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester, NH 03102.
