Leah M. Collier, 87, of Goffstown, was called home on April 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Manchester on March 11, 1931 the daughter of Edward and Mary (Hudzik) Debski. She grew up in Manchester, was educated in the Queen City school system and was a graduate of Manchester Central High School. She lived most of her adult life in Goffstown.
Leah was an excellent cook and the consummate homemaker whose love and devotion for her family was above all else. She enjoyed bowling and getting together with her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years James Collier in 2001 and by her brothers Frederick Debski, Joseph Debski and Walter Debski and by her sisters Stella Boisvert and Helen Debski.
Members of her family include her daughters Cynthia Naum and her husband Kevin and Susan Biron and her husband Doug, her son Scott Collier all of Manchester and her grandchildren Randy Naum, Ricky Naum and Kira Collier as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday April 20 from 10 to 11 am at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester followed by a Memorial Service at 11 am in the funeral home. Urn burial followed in St. Hedwig Cemetery in Bedford. The family requests that memorial donations in Leah’s name be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 166 So. River Rd. Suite 210 Bedford, NH 03110.
