Each of which brought her immense joy.
While raising her family on the West side of Manchester
she was "Mom" to the neighborhood and would feed them all. "What's one more mouth to feed". Always ready with a meal, a kind word, and a warm hug.
Lani retired from Osram Sylvania after years of dedicated service. She enjoyed many years of retirement and resided with her husband in their winter home in Homosassa, Florida, for 26 years before moving back to New Hampshire in 2021 to live with her daughter and son in-law.
Her unbounded love and dedication along with her husband to their family never wavered. Hard work and sacrifice for many years was their duty. They always wanted a big family, and they sure got one. Her grace, wisdom, endless optimism and love has passed down through the generations.
She lived a full life of which we're grateful.
Her love for reading, games, piano, music, dancing, cooking, family and friends was infectious. She would tell everyone of her kids, "You're my favorite" and we'd all laugh. Her family was her pride and joy and we felt it. We're better because of it.
She instilled greatness in all of us and we carry it with pride. She wasn't just our Mom, she was a benchmark, shining example, trusted confidant, steady hand, reliable friend and the matriarch of our family. She was a radiant example of a life well lived and will never be forgotten, because she lives on inside all who knew her. What a gift.
Her love and relationship with Jesus Christ was her strength, and she encouraged us all to walk with him.
You have our endless love and respect.
Your work on earth is done, and God has called you home. Your family in Heaven are cheering for your arrival, what a blessing.
Rest in peace mom, grandma, great grandma. Thank you... Ku’u Aloha, A hui hou. (My beloved, until we meet again)
