Luis Alphonso Rodriguez, age 78 of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully on Thursday January 14th, 2021. He was born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico on May 3rd, 1942. He was the son of the late Alphonso Rodriguez and Angela Rodriguez (Guzman).

He grew up in Maunabo, Puerto Rico, and later worked in construction and as an auto-mechanic in The United States. Luis was known for having a green thumb, loved spending time with his family and his dogs, found comfort and happiness in reading his bible, and enjoyed spending his time fixing old cars as it was his passion. In his spare time, he played Bingo and watched his favorite team, the Red Sox, play games.

He is survived by his long time sweetheart Margaret Tyler, as well as his sons Luis, Robert, and Edgar, and his daughters Suzette, Ingrid, Angela, and Amanda Rodriguez, as well as his many beloved grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his mother, father, sister and brother.

A wake will be held from 11am-1pm on Wednesday January 27, 2021 located at McHugh Funeral Home at 283 Hanover St. Manchester, NH 03104. A private funeral service for close friends and family will be held immediately following the wake. Burial will be done at a later date.
