Magella Houle, 89, of Manchester passed away January 20, 2015 at Hackett Hill Center after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Manchester, she was born here on June 7, 1925, the daughter of Oliver and Marie (Gourde) Roberge.
In her younger years, she had been employed in the mills and later as a housekeeper for a local attorney. She was married to Roger D. Houle who died in July 2008.
She is survived by a son, Ronald Houle of Florida and nieces and nephews including Lorraine and William Zimarowski of Bedford who provided care for her.
There are no calling hours. A committal service was held Wednesday at 1 PM in Mount Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester. Memorial donations may be made to the Activities Fund, Hackett Hill Center, 191 Hackett Hill Rd., Manchester NH 03102. The McHugh Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
