Margaret A. McDonough Caron

Margaret A. Caron, 88, of Manchester died April 1, 2013 at her home. She was born in Keene, NH on November 1, 1924 the daughter of John J. and Madrienne (McGuiness) McDonough. She was educated in the Keene School System, was a graduate of Keene High School and attended Keene State College.

Margaret resided in Manchester for more than 56 years. She was a communicant of St. Hedwig Church and was a member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites having been proffessed in 1983.

She loved being a homemaker and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Members of her family include her four daughters Martha Eckman of Hollis, Abbie Terrones of Washington DC, Emily Belleville of Concord and Margaret Mehrmann of Manchester, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Normand Caron in 2004 and by her brother John J. McDonough of Potomac, MD in 2009.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday April 4 at 11AM in St. Hedwig Church corner of Beech and Orange Sts. Burial followed in St. Hedwig Cemetery in Bedford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that that memorial masses be celebrated in Margaret’s name. The McHugh Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
