Olga Emanouil, 89, of Manchester NH, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family on Thursday February 23, 2017 at Villa Crest Nursing Home. Olga was born December 17, 1927 in Manchester, the daughter of George and Areti (Kotopoulos) Goulionis. She graduated from Central High School class of 1946.

During her high school years she enjoyed sewing and was a Girl Scout troop leader. She was employed until her retirement at Osram Sylvania in Manchester. Olga enjoyed music, playing the piano, traveling, Greek cooking and most of all her cherished family. She was a member of the choir at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

She was predeceased by her husband William of 56 years in 2002 and her sister Elizabeth Smith in 2011.

Olga is survived by her daughter Iris Newdorf and her husband Charles, her three sons George, Stephen, Anthony and his wife Grace, her six grandchildren Kaitlyn and her husband Andrew Hogan, Nicholas Newdorf, Mathew, Ethan, Eric and David Emanouil as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses, caregivers and entire staff of Villa Crest Nursing Home for the excellent care they provided to Olga these last two years.

Visitation was held from Monday February 27 from 10 to 11 am at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral 650 Hanover Street in Manchester followed by a Funeral Service celebrated by Fr. Wilson at 11 am. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Olga’s name be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral. The family has entrusted the McHugh Funeral Home with her care.
