Pauline N. Allen, 59, of Manchester, the daughter of the late Fern and Theresa Rouillard passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011 peacefully at home. She had been battling three cancers for 8 years with the last 2 years fighting metastatic cancer.
She was a graduate of St. Anthony High School and attended UNH and Merrimack Valley College. She was fully certified by the Dale Carnegie Institute.
During her career Mrs. Allen had managed two floral and craft businesses and had been a caregiver for many elderly and children. She had also been employed by Nickels Investigations, Alltex, New England Telephone Co. and AT&T.
She was active in many church activities, committees and social events at St. Augustin and St. Anthony parishes. Most recently she was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament parish. She had taught CCD for 16 years and managed Bingo for eight years. Pauline was a member of the Consoler’s Group and a member of the Third Order of St. Francis.
She was a loving homemaker for 24 years.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Allen; three brothers; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There were no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at 10 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St. Committal prayers were offered at Mount Calvary Mausoleum Chapel.
