Pauline Triantafellow Chaloge, 100, of Manchester, passed away on January 12, 2017 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Manchester on December 14, 1916, the eldest of nine children of Alexander and Paraskivi (Exarnouli) Triantafellow and was a lifelong resident of the Queen City. She was educated in the local school system.

She was the owner/operator of Ela Mesa Interiors first established in Hampton and then in Salem. As a talented interior decorator, Pauline traveled the world over acquiring many special and unique items to utilize for her decorating purposes. She developed a relationship with famed pianist Liberace during a performance in Hampton and he purchased many exquisite pieces from her for his homes. Pauline touched many lives with her infectious smile and generosity and there were many friends who were considered to be part of her family. She will always be remembered as an elegant and very stylish woman.

Members of her family include her youngest sister Dorothea Theodore and her daughter Pamela as well as many godchildren, nieces, nephews and their extended families.

Visitation was held on Monday January 23 from 10 am to noon at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester. A Trisagion Service was held at 11 am in the funeral home and a Funeral Service was celebrated at 12:30 pm at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral 650 Hanover St. Manchester. Entombment followed in Pine Grove Cemetery.
