

Raymond T. Sevigny 82, of Manchester, died on October 21, 2011 at the Greenbriar Healthcare Center in Nashua after a brief illness. He was born on June 11, 1929 in Sanford, ME the son of Hollis and Adrienne (Roy) Sevigny. He was raised in Maine and was educated in the Sanford School System.
He married Patricia Guyer in October 1964 and together they traveled and lived in many locations, among them Maine, Kansas, Laconia, Concord, Portsmouth and Dover before settling in Manchester.
He catered and worked as a chef at many fine restaurants including the New England Center at UNH prior to his retirement.
Members of his family include his beloved wife of 47 years Patricia Sevigny of Manchester, his son David Sevigny and his wife Patricia of Derry, his daughter Kathryn Dunn of Kansas, thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three sisters Lucille Cronin and Aline Serabia both of Portland, ME and Annette Valcourt and her husband John of Norwich, CT, his brother-in-law Roland Denby of Alfred, ME and his sister-in-law Margaret Sevigny of Texas. He was predeceased by his brothers Harvey Sevigny and Paul Sevigny and by his sister Anita Denby.
A Memorial Gathering was held on Friday October 28, 2011 from 11:30AM to 1:30PM at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St corner of Beech St in Manchester, NH. A Memorial Service was celebrated in St. Anne-St. Augustin Church 382 Beech St. Manchester, NH at 2PM. Burial will be held in Sanford, ME at a later date. The family requests that donations be made in Raymond’s name to St. Anne-St. Augustin Church.
