Born on January, 31, 1950, he was the son of the late Russell and Audree (Beam) Anderson. Born and raised in Bertha City, Minnesota, Rodney made his way across the country where he’d ultimately set roots in Manchester, New Hampshire.
At twenty years old, Rodney entered the U.S. Marine Corps and proudly served his country as an Aircraft Recovery and Engine Technician, receiving an honorable discharge in 1975 with the rank of Corporal. After serving in the Marines, his professional career took him into various fulfilling occupations throughout his lifetime. He worked in a machine shop, served as a Firefighter, became an Airport and Limo transportation service owner and just prior to retiring due to a disabling injury, he was a Courier driver.
Rodney found and married the love of his life, Linda, and the two of them happily raised her children together until they completed their family with a daughter, Tammy. They spent over 44 wonderful years together building memories until her passing in 2019. Rodney had many passions in his life, such as building models, playing golf, shooting pool and spending time with his loved ones. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Rodney is survived by his daughter Tamara Bournival and her husband Erik; sons, Todd Lyles and wife Robin, Larry Lyles and wife, Laronda, and Sean Anderson; sisters, Tawna Villeneuve and her husband Ronald and Cherri Jackson; step-brothers, Randi Wentzell and Rocki Wentzell; grandchildren, Zachary Bournival, Ashley Bournival, Taylor Lyles and Dylan Lyles; great-grandchild, Kai Bournival; and many loving family and friends. In addition to his parents, Rodney was predeceased by his wife, Linda; son, Andy Lyles; and sister, Vicki Raymond.
A private family ceremony took place at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH where Rodney is now joined with his beloved wife, Linda.
