Stephen R. Rush

Born on November 6, 1956 in Massachusetts, he was the son of the late James H. and Mary (McCarthy) Rush. Stephen grew up in Massachusetts and attended the Nashoba Valley High School. After meeting the love of his life, Barbara, they went on to raise two wonderful sons together and resided in New Hampshire. During his lifetime, Stephen spent his career as a Yard Laborer for the Copart Company in Billerica, MA for over 20 years and retired in 2019. After retirement, Stephen enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, helping his neighbors, spending time with his Shih Tzu, Chloe, and making memories with his beloved family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara Rush; two sons, Stephen Rush and wife, Stephanie and Michael Rush and his fiancé, Nicole; sisters, Kathleen Stanton and her husband, James, and Lori Wood and her partner, Chris; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Sophia, Phoenix, Hannah, Olivia, Max and Mia and many loving family and friends. In addition to his parents, Stephen is predeceased by his brother, James R. Rush.

A visitation for Stephen will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at McHugh Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 283 Hanover St, Manchester, New Hampshire 03104, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that a donation be made in Stephen's memory to the Visiting Nurses Association of Manchester and the Southern New Hampshire.
