Susanne M. Hebert

Susanne M. Hebert, 59, of Manchester died October 26, 2013 at her residence after a long illness. She was born in Manchester on August 25, 1954 the daughter of Roger and Pauline (Provencher) Hebert and was a lifelong resident of the Queen City. She was educated in the local school system, attended Blessed Sacrament Grammar School and was a member of the Class of 1972 of Manchester Memorial High School.

She was a graduate of UNH where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in social work in 1998 and her Master’s Degree in 2001. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a counselor and social worker at a number of local service agencies most recently at the Greater Manchester Aids Project.

Members of her family in addition her parents include her sister Carol Schunemann and her husband Edward, her brother David Hebert and her nephew James Schunemann all of Manchester. She was predeceased by her brother Mark Hebert in 1967. Visitation was held on Friday November 1 from 10 to 11AM at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester. A Memorial Service was celebrated at 11:30 at Blessed Sacrament Church 14 Elm St. Manchester. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Susanne’s name to the Blessed Sacrament Church Food Pantry or to the American Cancer Society 2 Commerce Dr. Suite 110 Bedford, NH 03110.
