William Edward Hunkins

William Edward Hunkins, 83, lifelong resident of Manchester, passed away on Saturday December 11, 2021. Born on February 23, 1938 in Manchester, he was the son of the late John Leo and Bernice Hunkins (Farley).

Bill loved watching football; especially the New England Patriots, talking politics, and spending time with his many nieces and nephews. He worked for Amoskeag Bank later known as Citizens bank for over 40 years until his retirement. He enjoyed having lunch with his former coworkers at Chez Vachon.

He is survived by his sisters Sheila Wright, and Eileen Hunkins; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters Dottie Healy, Claire Casey, Phillis Thayer, Jackie Crane, Judy Boulanger, Mary Cloutier; and brother John Hunkins.

A Visitation will be held on Monday December 20th from 10am to 11am at McHugh Funeral Home located at 283 Hanover St, Manchester, with a Funeral Service beginning at 11am. A burial will immediately follow services at St. Joseph Cemetery located at 448 Donald St, Bedford NH.
