Yvette "Babe" Larnard, 88, formerly of Goffstown, passed away peacefully at Mt. Carmel Rehab and Nursing Center on December 17, 2024. Yvette (who was nicknamed "Babe" at birth by her oldest sister, Laurette) was the fifth of 6 girls born to Eugene and Valeda (Douville) Daigle on November 25,1936.
She attended St. Anthony’s and West High schools in Manchester.
Her proudest accomplishment was successfully raising her 5 children as a single mom. She worked as a server at Tambini's Restaurant in Bedford, took on side work as a typist and in-home childcare to make ends meet.
Two of her favorite pastimes were dancing and playing cards. One New Year's Day, she handed out pennies to each of us and began teaching us how to play poker!
She is survived by her 5 children Roxanne (David) Billings, Guy (Cheryl Kutzner) Viviers, Donna (Stephen) Jenkins, Shawn Viviers and Norris Viviers, Sr.; stepson, Kevin (Cindy) Larnard, 3 stepdaughters, Kathy Brace, Michele Linehan and Lori MacLeod; 3 sisters, Pauline Croteau, Helen Cooley and Dolores Duhaime; a sister-in-law, Constance Guillemette, several nieces and nephews, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Babe was predeceased by her first husband and father of her children, Paul Viviers, Jr., her husband, Robert "Bob" Larnard, 2 sisters, Laurette Cedras and Claire Cedras, and more recently, her grandson, John Jenkins.
We would like to extend our thanks to folks at The Arbors of Bedford, Mt. Carmel Rehab in Manchester and the VNA of Manchester for the kind, compassionate, loving care they extended to our mother and us. As per Babe's wishes, there will be no calling hours or service.
