Amedio “Ame” L. Ierardi, 84, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at his home with his devoted wife at his side. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Ame lived in Ozone Park before moving to Leisure Village West in Manchester, NJ eleven years ago. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life. Ame was a member of the Dance and Billiard Clubs of the Village and loved playing pool as much as he could.
He was predeceased by his step-son, William Peritore. He is survived by his wife, Anne (nee Piazza) Ierardi, and his daughter, Christine, as well as his sister Patricia Longo.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 pm, with a funeral service at 3 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ 08759. Cremation was private. To post a tribute please visit our website at www.andersoncampbellmanchester.com
