Angelo Faraci, 91, of Hampton, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 20th, 2021, with his loving family by his side. Angelo was born on April 16, 1929 and grew up in Borgetto, Palermo, Italy. In 1967, Angelo left Italy and moved to Australia. He remained there until 1974 when he and his family emigrated to the United States and settled in Queens, New York. In 2000 Angelo relocated to Hamilton, NJ and lived here until 2017 when he moved to Hampton, Virginia. It is here that he remained until his passing. Angelo worked as a fruit and vegetable vendor, a construction worker and was a Merchant Marine. He enjoyed many hobbies: playing bocce ball, being outdoors, fishing, playing cards, bird watching, storytelling, and dancing. Amongst all of his hobbies, he found his true passion to be that of gardening and spending time with his family; being a jokester. Angelo truly lived life to it's fullest. He was predeceased by his brother's Gaspare and Giuseppe and a sister, Rosa. Angelo is survived by his wife, Maria Grazia Faraci, two sister's, Stella and Lucia, sons, Salvatore Faraci and his wife, Maria, Antonino Faraci and his wife, Filomena, daughters, Josephine Semilia and her husband, Rocco and Rosa Semilia and her husband, David. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A visitation for Angelo will be held on Thursday, January 28th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a service at 8 p.m. at The Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, Manchester. Burial will be private.
