Anthony J. Vigilante Jr.

Anthony was born in Morristown and lived in Basking Ridge before moving to Leisure Ridge in Manchester 24 years ago. He was a 1947 graduate of Morristown High School and an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He worked for Rowe International Manufacturing in Whippany, NJ. He enjoyed bowling, golf and good times at his club house. Anthony and Ruth also enjoyed traveling. He was a parishioner of Saint John's Church in Lakehurst, NJ.

Anthony is survived by his wife Ruth of 62 years, a son and his wife, Dr. Gary and Noreen Vigilante of Chester Springs, PA, a daughter and her husband, Donna and Fred Steiermann of Redington Beach, FL. Also surviving are his eight grandchildren Michael, David, Victoria, Erin, Ricky, Jillian, Chris and Joshua, and his sister Geraldine Ryan.

Visitation will be on Monday April 18, 2016, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Tuesday at Saint John's Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733, with internment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
