

Beatrice P. Cox, 93, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Monday November 28, 2016 at AristaCare in Manchester, NJ. Born in Brink Haven, OH, Beatrice lived in Maplewood for many years before moving to Leisure Village West in Manchester in 1987, where she was an active member of KLVW Studio and involved in many clubs including the Garden Club. While residing in Maplewood, Beatrice volunteered at her local Veteran’s hospital for many years and helped to organize the first ambulance service in Maplewood, NJ. Beatrice was an avid volunteer for many organizations and was elected to the Roll of Honor for LVW “For outstanding efforts on behalf of the Village”. She was also a Lifetime member of the Strollers of Maplewood.
Beatrice was predeceased by her husband Arthur in 2000. She is survived by her daughter Carol Hartman and her husband Robert, and her son Edward Cox and his wife Lorie, her four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759, on Thursday December 8, 2016 from 1-3 pm, with a service to be conducted at 3 pm.
