Berman C. “Bud” Harleman, Jr., 69, of Jackson died Saturday at home with his devoted family by his side. Born in Cherry Hill, he grew up in Hawaii and later Little Silver before moving to Jackson in 1995. He was a graduate of Red Bank Regional High School, and co-owner of JBH Paving and Excavating, LLC in Jackson. Mr. Harleman was a parishioner of Whiting Bible Church, Whiting. He was an avid gardener and animal lover, and he loved to spend time with his loving family.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 45 years in 2013. Surviving are his beloved children, Dawn Greenberg and her husband Chris, John Harleman and his wife, Tina, and Tony Dephillips; his cherished grandchildren, Nicole, Johnny, Kaitlyn, Hayley, Sophia, Julia and Jake; and his sisters, Shirley, Pat and Barbara.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Sept. 2 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Whiting Bible Church, Whiting, NJ. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Middletown.
