Blanche Taylor, 88, of Manchester transitioned to her eternal life on Friday, August 31, 2018. Born in Manhattan, NY, she moved to New York City and later to Manchester. Blanche was a Registered Nurse and a Private Duty Nurse before becoming a Deputy Court Clerk for Manchester Township. She also volunteered for Manchester Township First Aid. An ardent advocate for animals, she also loved to garden. Blanche was an excellent cook who enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, William L. Taylor, in 1998, by her two brothers, William and Augustus Woods, and by her two beloved sons, Gregory and Dennis Taylor. Surviving are five children, Adriene Amewudah, Vanessa Bryson, Beverly Taylor, Rodney Taylor and Harold Taylor, 28 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, her loving sister-in-law, Thelma Woods and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am, Tuesday, September 11 at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. A funeral Service will be held from 11 am to 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
