Brian A. Cleary, 37, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Saturday January 4, 2020. Brian was born in Lakewood and raised in Forked River. He attended Donovan Catholic (formerly Monsignor Donovan) and went on to attain his Bachelor’s degree from Coastal Carolina University, later moving to Toms River. Brian was an avid fan of snowboarding, skiing, bodyboarding and skateboarding. It was also not rare to see Brian skateboarding or more like have his skateboard pulled by his boxer, Carlos. Predeceased by his grandfather Armando DiCicco, Brian is survived by his devoted mother and father, Antoinette and Richard Winkle, his loving sisters and brothers, Nicole Lomangino and Amy Winkle, Richard Winkle Jr. and David Winkle, his fiancé Colleen Crist, and his cherished grandmother Ellena DiCicco. Brian is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Brian touched many lives and he will be forever remembered and forever missed. Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ, on Friday January 10, 2020, from 4-8 pm and on Saturday January 11, 2020 from 10-11 am with a Funeral Service celebrating Brian’s life to start at 11 am. Internment to follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.

Although we didn't know Brian personally, we knew of him through his cousin and my daughter. He held a special place in their hearts and the hearts of his entire family. There are no words to express the depth of our condolences to Brian's family.

May the peace of the Lord be with them all.
