Cecilia A. Ward passed on September 14, 2026, just two days prior to her 93rd birthday. She was born in the Bronx, NY, the middle child with four sisters and two brothers. She was a legal secretary at Sperry Corp and Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. for many years, until her retirement. She lived most of her life in Manhattan, where she enjoyed her independence, freedom and friends for many years. Ceil was always ready and willing to be of help whenever she could. She had a sharp wit and was blessed with a good sense of humor. She was a whiz at Word Search puzzles. Ceil was a friend to many and will be missed by many. She is survived by her two sisters, Anita and Pat, and several nieces and nephews.
