Charles T. Lazaro

Charles T. Lazaro, age 90, of Manchester Township, New Jersey passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022. Charles was born March 11, 1931 in and grew up in Newark, New Jersey. He attended Central High School before serving in the Army during the Korean War. He quickly became a leader amongst his peers and was promoted to Staff Sergeant in under two years. Chuck was a very hardworking man and had been employed as a land surveyor in New York City. As many people were winding down their careers at the age of 57, Chuck made the courageous decision to start his own successful company, Manhattan Surveying. Known as a tough man to work for, he was also known to be fair and kind to his employees, to which many of them recently called him to thank him for his guidance. Chuck loved his family and will be dearly missed.

A visitation will occur Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Mass of Christian Burial for Charles will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at Saint John's RC Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. A Committal service with Military Honors will take place on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 2 PM at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ 07083, with entombment to follow.
