Constance Margaret Gaffney

Constance M. (Haley )Gaffney, 79, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, in Brick. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Elizabeth before moving to the Jersey Shore in 1997. She worked for 25 years at the Union County Court House in the Registrar's Office for mortgages and deeds. Connie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Connie was predeceased by her grandson, Michael. She is survived by two loving daughters and their husbands, Eileen and Kenneth Kleinman of Toms River, and Michele and Joseph Halat of Howell; a loving son and his wife, Thomas and Robyn Gaffney of Canton, Ga.; two brothers, Richard Haley and his wife Barbara of Florida and James Haley formerly of New Jersey; and a sister, Joan Bradley of Texas. She has six grandchildren, Erica Kleinman Martucci, Amanda Kleinman Sherak, Alyssa Kleinman, Marissa Halat, Chelsea Halat and Katerina Gaffney; and four great-grandchildren, Leah, Jack and Aidan Martucci and Benjamin Sherak, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations can be made in her honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Funeral services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester.
