Diva Visconi

age of 91.

Born on October 7, 1932, in Brooklyn NY, she resided there until our family moved to Jackson

New Jersey in 1959. Diva spent most of her career working in the banking industry. She

eventually moved to Manchester NJ and subsequently retired from the Jackson Township

Assessor’s office where she worked for many years later in life.

Diva had a passion for music and dancing and loved to enjoy those pursuits at the Jersey

Shore. She loved keeping her yard and plants looking park-like. She enjoyed watching classic

movies, reading local newspapers, and making inappropriate comments…no, really!

Diva was a generous soul, always putting others’ needs before her own. Her compassion

extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for always trying to force-feed

her family, friends and neighbors whenever she cooked.

She is survived by her daughter Amelia Hayward (Joe), son John Visconi (Robin), grandchildren

Joe (Sue), Amy (Tom), and John (Jen), as well as great-grandchildren Takoda and Theo.

A brief funeral service will be held for friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite charity.

A visitation for Diva will be held Friday, June 28, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. Following the visitation will be a committal service from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
