Dolores I. Wolff , age 88 of Jackson, NJ, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side, on Saturday, June 14, 2025. She was born and raised in Bronx, NY where she eventually met and married her beloved husband, William. They moved to Jersey City and had 4 beautiful children before settling in Woodbridge, NJ, eventually moving to Howell, NJ after William retired. Dolores was a well respected employee of Bradlee’s for many years before retiring, at which time she moved to Jackson, NJ with her daughter, son-in-law and grandsons. She enjoyed traveling, taking her first trip to Hawaii to celebrate her 25th Wedding Anniversary with Bill. She cruised to Bermuda/Bahamas with her Mother, Marguerite Whalen and relatives and later travelled to France, Italy and Spain with her granddaughters, Tabitha and Alyssa. Her last excursion was a wonderful cruise with her cousin, Barbara. She also travelled countless times to Yorktown Heights – her home away from home – to enjoy the company of her beloved brother Ramon Wright and sister-in-law, Charlotte as well as their daughters, Ann, Linda and Terry and their families who adored her, especially Vicky, with whom she had a very special relationship.
Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren – all 17 of them! Her joy increased tenfold with the arrival of her 18, soon-to-be 19, great grandchildren. She was born to be a Mom, Gram and Great-Gram, always making time to make them all feel special and loved. That love extended to her many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Raising her children in Woodbridge, the house was always filled with friends, love and laughter. She welcomed everyone, especially a special little boy, Jason Tune, whom she instantly fell in love with, babysat for years and kept in touch with all these years later. That is her legacy. That is the woman she was. That is the love she shared with everyone, and that is why she will be so sadly missed. She was one in a million and her family is honored that she was theirs.
Dolores was predeceased by her husband, William P. Wolff, in 1990. She is survived by her devoted children; William “Billy” Wolff, Susan Wolff-Fohs, Warren Wolff and his wife, Dana and Theresa (Wolff) Diana and her caring husband, Emilio. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Liam Wolff, Tabitha & Jeff Brizuela, Cailyn & Jason Avon, Alyssa Zumbano and her fiancée Brett, Philip & Jackie Zumbano, Jonathan & Vikki Burke, Samantha Molinas, Ali & Kyle Bilodeau, Grayson Wolff, Ravanne Wolff, Shyanne Wolff, Nicolette Wolff, Taylor Stoll and Thomas Stoll, Kyle & Jacquelyn Diana, Daulton & Alyssa Diana and Austin Diana and his girlfriend, Pauline Fox.
She is further survived by her Great Grandchildren, Sophia, JJ, Junior, Antonia, Camillo, Briar, Amber, Jade, Lincoln, Tyson, Adrianna, Yvette, Grayson Jr., Kali, Grace, Jayden, Elijah, Wyndham and Baby Diana, due in November.
A visitation for family and friends of Dolores will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm, with a prayer service at 8pm, at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759.
