Domenica (nee Auriemma) Murawinski, age 83, of Manchester, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 25, 2025. She was known to all as Minnie and affectionately called MaMa Min Min by her family.
Minnie was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ; daughter of Dominick and Frances (nee Musto) Auriemma. She attended Lincoln High School but could be found on any given Friday night on the dance floor that was the converted gym of Our Lady of Mt. Caramel.
Shortly after graduation, she met and married Edward S. Murawinski and their 56 year marriage was a love for the ages. They raised their family in Nutley, NJ where Minnie was an active member of the Rosary Alter Society and the St. Lucy Filippini Sodality at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. She also formed the social group known as “The Sophisti-Cats” with whom she travelled and celebrated life events with as recently as last Fall.
In 2000, Minnie moved to Manchester, NJ and a year later, she started her thriving career in sales at Value City Furniture. She was known there as everyone’s “work-mom” until her retirement in 2016. If you were to ask any co-worker, they would tell you she was a real firecracker with a heart of gold.
Minnie loved her family fiercely. She was happiest riding “It’s A Small World” with her grandchildren and enjoying a glass of Prosecco. She had a great sense of humor, and the mere mention of her name brings a smile to the face of many.
Minnie is survived by her loving children; Domenica and Jeffrey Goldberg and Stephanie Rosal. Her cherished grandchildren Joshua, Jordan and Mikayla, Lia, Ashley, Noah and Julia, Brianna, and Joseph. Minnie was recently blessed with great-grandchildren Dalton and Aurora. She is pre-deceased by her husband Edward, her sister Frances Klotz and her brother Dominick Auriemma, Jr.
