Dorothy “Dottie” Frank (nee Brower), 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother of Manchester, formerly of Hillside passed away on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011. Married for 64 years to Michael Frank, they had four daughters: Bette Diou and husband, Chuck, of Brick, Nancy Varhol and husband , Jim, of Portland, CT, Susan Tavormina of Middlesex, and Cathy D’Addona and husband, Pat, of Colonia. Dottie was adored by her nine grandchildren and six great grandkids, who called her “G.G.” She will be missed by her lifelong friends of St. Patrick’s Grammar and High School in Elizabeth. She will be fondly remembered for her family loyalty, sense of humor, love of the seashore and her constant support she gave her entire family.
Family and friends are invited to call from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm, Thursday, at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am, Friday at St. Johns Roman Catholic Church, Lakehurst. Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
