

Emil Miller, age 82 of Manchester, passed away on Monday, Sept 16, 2024. He was born in Paterson, lived most of his life in New Jersey (Haledon, Clifton, Vernon, Belmar and Spring Lake), with some years in Colonia VA, prior to moving to Manchester, NJ.
Emil is predeceased by his wife Josephine Miller and their children, Frank Spring, Lori Bowler, Carol Vitali, April Spring, Doreen Philips. He is survived by his sister Joan Mackey along with his children John Miller, his wife Andrea Miller and their children Jeffrey and Joseph; Pam Paffett and her children Joshua and Melissa; and his granddaughters Kristi Bowler and Alexis Vitali, and late daughter Doreen’s children Heather, Dominic and Samantha. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Bernard Natoli and his nieces and nephews; Linda Rozek, her husband Andrew Rozek and their children Allison and Samantha; Charles Natoli and his beloved dog Yui; Tomi Natoli and her daughter Naomi; and Maria Moller and her children, Victoria and Emily.
He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, who also cherished and cared deeply for his (4) stepchildren who succumbed to Huntington’s Disease.
Emil was a Marine veteran, strong willed, who protected and cared for those around him. He enjoyed hosting and cooking for family and friends. He was always barbequing, or serving pasta dinners with his homemade sauce, and prepared his famous cheesecake for dessert. He loved the music of his time, the occasional trip to the casino, and adored his beloved dog, Chloe. He will be remembered for his compassion, protective nature, and profound impact on the lives he touched and will be missed.
Services will be private. Memorial contributions to Huntington’s Disease Society of America would be appreciated.
