Eugene E. Ossmann, Jr.

Eugene E. Ossmann, Jr., 84, of Whiting, NJ, passed away at his home on Tuesday June 7, 2022. Born and raised in Trenton, Gene lived in Yardville and Wingate, NC for 27 years before moving to Whiting in 2004. He was a manager for Delavel in Wingate, NC for many years. Gene loved gardening and was so proud of his flowers. He had played soccer in high school and was also a coach and he also enjoyed long bicycle trips.

Gene was predeceased by his parents, Eugene E., Sr. and Erskin and his brother John. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Freda Ossmann, his children; Jeanne A. Barbour and her husband Jim, Frederick Ossmann, Mark Ossmann and his wife Betty, his 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and his siblings; Trudy McManaway and her husband Clayton, Karl Ossmann, June Miller and her husband Fran and Eileen Bernhardt and her husband Paul. Gene is also survived by his beloved yorkie, Charlie.

Visitation will be held on Saturday June 11, 2022, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759, from 12-2 pm with a funeral service to take place at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity can be made in Gene’s memory.
