

George J. Soltys, Jr., 66, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Tuesday September 17, 2013 at Community Memorial Hospital, Toms River, NJ. Born and raised in Elizabeth, George lived in Neptune, NJ, for 30 years before moving to the Renaissance in Manchester in 2002.
George retired in 2002 as an Executive Vice President for Fleet Bank, previously known as Summit Bank. In retirement, he started his own business selling car brochures on eBay. His passion of collecting car brochures became a successful online business with customers in all 50 states and 43 countries. George also was a proud alumnus of Rutgers University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1969 and his Master’s degree in 1974.
George is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elaine (nee Anderson) Soltys, his children, George J. Soltys, III and his wife Lesley of Gainesville, VA, and Kelly Glenn and her husband Chad of Jackson, NJ, his five grandchildren Kayla, Abigail and Emma Soltys and Julianna and Alyssa Glenn. He is also survived by his three brothers, Michael Soltys, Robert Soltys, and Paul Soltys, and his sister, Mary Kathryn Jablonski, and by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759, on Friday Sept. 20, 2013, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
