Georgia L. Conroy

Georgia L. Conroy, 78, of Lakewood, passed away on December 3, 2020, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ. Born in Berwick, PA, Georgia grew up in Sunnyside, NY. She had resided in Jersey City, South Brunswick, Hillsborough and Branchburg before moving to Lakewood 19 years ago. Georgia had worked as a purchasing agent for 3 companies for many years and then had worked as a training coordinator for Carrier Clinic. While living in the Fairways, Georgia was a past president of the Women’s Club, as well as a member, and played many games and attended many activities. She enjoyed travelling, reading, music, going to concerts, and spending time on the beach in Florida. But what she enjoyed most was attending her grandsons’ basketball games and theatrical performances.

Georgia was predeceased by her parents, George and Mary Wright and her brother Frank Wright. She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Thomas Conroy, her loving son, Tom Conroy and his wife Michele and her cherished grandsons Drew, Russell and Griffin.
