Born in Minneapolis, MN, he lived in Plainfield and Manhattan before moving to Manchester 2 years ago.
Prior to retiring, he was an art teacher for over 30 years in the Montclair Public School System.
Grant is survived by his brother Kenneth Peterson his wife Lonnie, their daughters Sue Kuhl and Jane Gay and their families and his sister Karen Schlamm and her husband Paul.
