James Charles Meyer, 27, of Beachwood passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at home. Born in Secaucus, he was raised in Florida before returning to N.J. where he graduated from Toms River High School South in 2009. James was an avid sports fan who loved the Boston Red Sox, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Brooklyn Nets. He followed the teams closely and knew every trade that was made.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, James and Anna Meyer and Charles Mateo. Surviving are his loving parents, Reid and Charlotte Meyer, of Beachwood, his sister, Elizabeth Murphy and her husband, Danny; his half-sister, Carlene Stone and her husband, Tim; his grandmother, Susanne Mateo; and his nephews, Daniel Edward and Connor James Murphy.
