

James (Jimmy) P. Swan, Jr. 65, of Manchester, N.J passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on July 8, 2022. Jimmy was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. on November 8, 1956. In 1994 he moved to Jackson, N.J. The last two years he has resided in Manchester, N.J.
In his early years he was a butcher and for the past thirty years he was a tractor trailer driver for Builders Firstsource. He started his career as a tractor trailer driver in Brooklyn and eventually relocated to New Jersey. He retired in December 2020. After retirement he enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and going to the range. Most of all Jimmy enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Jimmy was known for his great sense of humor, smile, but most of all his big heart. Anyone who met him felt immediately as if they had known him for years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend and was affectionately known as “Pa” by his loved ones. He was always there for those that needed him.
Jimmy was predeceased by his first wife, Gina, whom he had been married to for 31 years.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Terri, his children: James and his wife Melissa, Tiffany and her husband Alex, Carmin and her boyfriend Marco, stepchildren Sarah and her husband Mike, George and his fiancé Erica . He is also survived by his siblings Frank, Steven, Eileen, Ken, Joe, and Billy and his grandchildren, Nickolas, Isabella and step-grandson Justin; they were the light of his life.
Cremation was held privately. There will be a visitation with the family on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753 from 10:30am to 11:30am.
A prayer service will immediately follow.
