Joseph Cillo, Jr., 75, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Saturday October 9, 2021, at his home with his wife by his side. Born in and raised in Astoria, NY, Joseph lived in Brooklyn and Staten Island before moving to the Renaissance in Manchester ten years ago. He worked as a transit worker for the MTA in Queens for 36 years and retired in 2009. While living in the Renaissance, Joe was active playing Bocce Ball, playing pool and exercising. He was also an avid New York Giants and Yankees fan and loved camping with his friends. He will be missed immensely by his loving family.
Joseph is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Sheryl Cillo, his loving children; Michael Cillo and Randi Cillo-Vitale, her husband Joe Vitale, and his cherished grandson Tommaso. He was predeceased by his sister and brother in law Sandra and Ian Hamilton. Joe is also survived by his brother Vincent Cillo, his sister in law and brother in law Cindy and Jeff Margolis and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Wednesday October 13, 2021, from 5-8 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. Please wear masks. A graveside service will be held on Thursday October 14, 2021, at 11 am at Saint Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
