Joseph Romeo

Joseph Romeo, 67 of Manchester, passed away on Sunday June 2, 2013, after battling cancer for many years at the Community Medical Center, Toms River, surrounded by his loving wife and daughter. Born in the Bronx, NY, he lived in North Arlington and Iselin, before moving to Manchester, in 1984, to the Holly Oaks section then residing to The Renaissance in 2003. Joe worked in auto sales for 25 years in several places, but in the last 5 years he worked at Lester Glenn Gmac, and Hyundai of Toms River, where he enjoyed his career most. He was a member of the Bocce and Shuffleboard Clubs of the Renaissance, and enjoyed playing Texas Hold’em, going to Atlantic City, golf and his 49’ers

Joe is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years Carol (nee Morino) Romeo and his cherished daughter Tina Romeo, both of Manchester, as well as several family members.

Visitation will be held on Friday June 7, 2013, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Funeral Service will be on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 10 am at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ.
