Joyce Ann Kokinchak

Joyce Ann Marlene Kokinchak passed away on July 2nd, 2025. Born on October 6, 1953 in Passaic, New Jersey, she was the only daughter to Bartholomew M. and Elaine E. Ficarra and older sister to three brothers: Victor R. Ficarra, Paul D. Ficarra and Bart A. Ficarra. Joyce was also a loving wife to her late husband John M. Kokinchak and a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. Throughout her life Joyce never ceased in her role as older sister as she always checked up on her immediate and extended friends and family over the phone. Around the holidays, she would always make sure each member of the family would have a gift, and often many gifts, in their hands. Joyce was a remarkably artistic and meticulous person. Every gift she gave was wrapped with such beauty and care that we often hesitated to open them, not wanting to disturb the thoughtful presentation she so lovingly created.

She is survived by her younger brothers Paul and Bart as well as her niece and nephew Elaine R. Ficarra and Victor B. Ficarra.
