Kathleen “Kathy” Curko of Toms River passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Flushing, NY, she moved to Manchester in 1980. She was employed as a secretary to the nurses at Ocean County Health Department for many years until her retirement in 2016.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 38 years, Marko Curko; four cherished children, Denis Curko, Danielle Bremer and her husband, Aaron, Kevin Curko and Melissa Reyes and her husband, Jorge, all of Toms River; seven adored grandchildren, Alyssa, Kandance, Abigail, Natalie, Ian, Alena and Niko; many cousins who were like brothers and sisters to her; and many friends, especially including the 3rd Avenue crew.
Famiily and friends are invited to call between 4 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, Thursday at St. John’s Roman Catholic Church, 619 Chestnut St., Lakehurst. Interment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Cemetery, 1 Honey Locust Dr. Lakewood.
