Lawrence F. Lau, age 81, a resident of Fort Pierce, Florida, and Manchester, New Jersey, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Born in Pinewald, New Jersey, Larry grew up in Toms River and graduated from Toms River High School. He then attended Utah State where he earned his BA degree. Larry returned to New Jersey and lived in Toms River before moving to the Renaissance in Manchester in 2001. Larry was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with his friends both in the Renaissance and in Florida.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Donna K. (nee Applegate) Lau, his loving stepdaughter, Luanna Ilch and her husband, Jon, his grandchildren Amanda Caswell (Ross), Steven Lindhorst (Leah) and Robert Morris, his great grandchildren Layla and Autumn Lindhorst and Riley and Cameron Caswell and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Bob and Bill.
