Margaret C. Major was born February 08, 1937, in Belle Glade Florida. Her parents were Elmira F. Williams and Michael V. Major. Margaret was the 13th of 16 children. They migrated from Florida to NJ in the 1940’s. Margaret is survived by one younger sister Elmira F. Major, one grandson Devin S. Lucia, and one great-grandson Jeffrey Leigh Lucia. She has hundreds of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews. Margaret was a beacon of light, touching the hearts of everyone she met. With her witty humor, loving nature, and mind bottling riddles. Margaret always knew how to make everyone smile. She gave her life for her friends and family; she would give you the shoes from her feet and shirt from her back. Her idea of happiness was making sure that everyone around her was always safe, secure, and happy. Margaret always made sure that everyone knew what her pride and joy was.
Have you seen my Pride and Joy?
Every chance Margaret had she was always looking for the rare four-leafed clovers.
Margaret was an inspiration to all, a saint to remember, and a love you will never forget. She was going downtown, and she’ll be back again, ayaka ayaka, a diddy dum dum. It is never goodbye, its “goodbye for now”.
Pass me not oh gentle savior, hear my humble cry, while on others thou are calling. Do not pass me by. In the name of Jesus Amen.
