Maria Grazia Faraci

Maria Grazia Faraci, 89, of Hampton, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 11th, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Maria was born on October 26, 1933, and grew up in Borgetto, Palermo, Italy. In 1967, Maria left Italy and moved to Australia. She remained there until 1974, when she and her family emigrated to the United States and settled in Queens, New York. In 2000, Maria relocated to Hamilton, NJ and lived there until 2017, when she moved to Hampton, Virginia. It is there that she remained until her passing. Maria was a homemaker, raising her four children. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, embroidery, and knitting. She enjoyed music and dancing. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Angelo Faraci, her sister Paola, and her brother, Santo. Maria is survived by her children, Salvatore Faraci and his wife, Maria, Antonino Faraci and his wife, Filomena, Josephine Semilia and her husband, Rocco and Rosa Semilia and her husband, David. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Visitation for Maria will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home in Manchester, NJ. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM a service will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows/St. Anthony in Hamilton, NJ, with Entombment at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton Township, NJ. to follow.
