Mary Ann Erickson

Mary Ann Erickson, 82 of Bayville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025. Mary Ann was born on May 3rd, 1943, in Elizabeth, NJ, to parents, Ralph and Matilda (nee Miller) Ucci. She grew up and attended Woodbridge High School. After graduation, Mary Ann became employed with Bell Atlantic, now known as Verizon. It is here that she met the love of her life and future husband, Louis. The two married in February of 1964 and moved to Brick Township, NJ. In 1979, Mary Ann and her family moved to Bayville and raised their four children, John, Louis, Robert, and Tina. Mary Ann remained in Bayville until her passing.

Mary Ann worked while raising her family as a CNA/ LPN at the Crystal Lake Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, in Bayville, for 35 years. She enjoyed gardening, going to Atlantic City, and going to the beach to watch the sunrise and sunset. Mary Ann was an exceptional lady, always with a smile on her face. She will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband, Louis Erickson, her brothers, Buzz and Ralph Ucci, her loving friends, Ruth Chimento and Ray Exel, and her grandson, Noah Erickson. She is survived by her sons, John Erickson and his wife, Jo-ann, Louis Erickson and his wife, Denise, Robert Erickson and his wife Kimberly, and her daughter, Tina Delaney. Her nieces, Noreen Ucci, and Dawn Cruz, and nephews, Brian and Ralph Ucci. Her grandchildren, Andrew, Jeanette, Shawn, Bailey, Shane, Hunter, Stevie, and Jay, her great granddaughter, Mia, and friends, Walt and Susan Lafay.

A viewing for Mary Ann will be held on Monday, August 18th, 2025, from 4 to 7 pm at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ. A service will commence at 6 pm. Cremation will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in memory of Mary Ann to the Special Olympics (support.specialolympics.org).
