I worked with mikey years ago. He was such a kind soul. He had a light about him that was contagious at times and I am sad to hear of his passing.. My thoughts and prayers are with those he left behind. I am genuinely sorry for your loss.

Words cannot describe the pain I feel knowing you aren’t here anymore. You were my first true friend. My best friend. The times we spent together playing power rangers, fencing in the yard, or just walking around the neighborhood are always remembered. You taught me about dealing with boys and prepared me for middle and high school with all of our talks. You filled my childhood with laughter and love. Thank you for being my confidant, my companion, my brother. Give my mom a giant hug and kiss for me. I love you!

When we moved into our home in Colonia in 1990, the first person to welcome us was a little 5 year old boy named Mikey. He sat with us on our front steps and would not stop talking...it was the cutest thing ever. Over the years Mikey would frequently come visit with his little toolbox and goggles when we were building our garage and as he grew later to bring us one of his most recent culminations concoctions (which were all very good by the way!) Michael as a young man was always friendly and never missed the opportunity to say hello or joke around with our kids. It felt like only yesterday when he turned 30. Your spirit is free Michael. You will always be fondly remembered and dearly missed by our family. Your neighbors from Kimberly Road, the Savage Family.

I was friends with Mikey for over 20 years and he always had a way to make you smile. I am truly heartbroken and all my love goes out to his family. I will never forget the smile he put on my face riding his unicycle. He was an exceptional person and will be sorely missed.

This is still so surreal to me. Mikey was my brother. He grew up in my house and was part of my family. Incredibly talented and funny as hell, you will NEVER find another like him. Mikey was one of a kind. To say he will be missed would be an understatement. I just wish I could see you and tell you I love you one more time. My deepest condolences to the DeJohns.
